Living Life Fully Alive!

January 1, 2011

St. Irenaeus wrote: “The glory of God is a human being fully alive.”

The glory of God is a human being  fully alive!”

Wouldn’t it be great to live your life fully alive?

I like the way Harold Whitman put it:

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go and do that. Because what the world needs is human beings who have come alive.”

How are YOU doing with this idea?

Are you living your life fully alive?

Or just going through the motions?

Just mailing it in?

Have you settled?  (I hate that word.)

I don’t know about you but I’m done settling.

I’ve settled for things in the past, and that approach has never served me very well.

It set me back quite frankly.

Now I refuse to settle for anything less than the best.

I refuse to settle for anything less than my best.

And guess what?

I’ve come to expect the best.

How about you?

Don’t settle.

Live your life fully alive!
